Combi
Manicure 1/1
Combi Manicure 1/1
1 day
09:30 to 19:30, two models, no filler content.
3–8 masters
Or one-on-one. On-site at your salon from three masters.
6+ months
You should already work with an e-file, even if badly.
from €250
Euro or złoty. One-on-one costs the same as for three students.
The combi technique is where most masters get stuck
Machine work looks simple until you do it on a live hand. Then it burns, it cuts, it leaves rings under the coating — and the master quietly goes back to nippers alone and stays slow forever.
You cut clients
Even occasionally is too often. Almost always it is the bit, the angle or the pressure — all three are fixable in one day.
You leave rings
Those thin damaged lines near the cuticle show through every coating and shorten how long it lasts.
Your line is never even
You chase the cuticle line with the thinnest brush you own and it still looks hand-drawn.

What you take away
-
Safe e-file work: the right bit for each stage, the right speed, the right angle
-
Opening the proximal fold — what with, how, and at which moment
-
Cutting the cuticle with scissors: angle, grip and position on the nail
-
Knowing the working and non-working parts of a flame bit — the source of most damage
-
When levelling the nail plate is necessary and when it is strictly forbidden
-
Coverage with an even halo and clean side parallels, without a thin brush. It is real — I do it in front of you
-
Body posture that keeps you working without back and wrist pain in ten years
The programme
Theory 09:30–11:00, my demonstration 11:00–11:30, then models until we finish.
Structure of the nail and the skin around it, so that every later decision has a reason behind it rather than a habit.
The types of combined manicure, hand types and choosing the right approach for each client. Not every hand should get the same treatment.
The full protocol for instruments and bits, because machine work generates dust and contact you cannot see.
The full range and what each is for. The working and non-working parts of the flame bit. The safe “one clean” bit. Silicon-carbide polishers. Mistakes and the file rings they leave — with photographs of the damage so you recognise your own work.
Technique for taking off artificial coating cleanly and quickly, and the diagnostics for when it burns or takes too long.
What with, how and when. This is the part that separates a clean combi manicure from a bloody one.
Which types suit this technique, how long to leave them and what happens if you use too much.
Angle of the blade, correct grip, position on the nail. Slow, precise and safe.
The cases where levelling the plate is necessary, and the cases where doing it will damage the nail.
Side parallels and a clean cuticle line without reaching for a thin brush. The technique that gives the course its name.
The psychology of the appointment, and how working as a team in a salon raises everyone’s result. Included because technique alone does not keep a client.

About the certificate
The certificate confirms skill, not attendance. I will make you repeat a movement until your hand does it without thinking, and I will stay late to get you there.
That is why it means something when you show it to a salon owner.
Questions I get asked
If you already work with clients and have at least six months behind you, no. Fear usually comes from not knowing which bit does what — which is exactly what we fix.
For the course everything is provided. But bring your own if you want me to check your machine and your bits — that alone often explains a lot.
Because watching a colleague make a mistake and hearing me correct it teaches you as much as making it yourself. After lunch everyone has their own model.
Yes, from three masters. I send a checklist of what each workstation needs in advance.
Ukrainian, easily followed by Russian-speaking masters. Polish or English on request with an interpreter, paid separately.
Ready to work clean and fast?
Write to me — tell me how you work today and what keeps going wrong. I will tell you honestly whether this is the course you need.
